1. The administration and management of the Institue sahll be vested in a Borad of Governonrs consisting of:-

a) The Vice-Chancellor ................ Chairman;

b) A Professor or an Associate Professor in order of seniority on the basis of rotation, from each of the following departments

• Botany
• Zoology
• Biochemistry
• pharmacy
• Any other related department(s) to be determined by the Academic Council;

c) The Dean of the Faculty of Life & Earth Science;

d) The Dean of the Faculty of Science;

e) The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine;

f) Three regular teachers of the Institue to be elected by themselves;

g) One person to be nominated by the Syndicate;

h) Two persons to be nominated by the Academic Council: (i) One from the Atomic Energy Research Establishment & (ii) From the other Universities in the relevant fields.

i) The Director of the Institute who shall be also act as the Member-secretary to the Board of Governors.

Board of Studies:

1. There shall be a Board of Studies of the Institute consisting of:

a) The Director of the Institute ............. Chairman

b) All teachers of the Institute ...............Member

c) Two Professors from other Universities of Bangladesh to be nominated by the Board of Governors.

d) Two Professors or Associate Professors of related subjects to be nominated by the Academic Council of this University.
