Overview:
The department has started its
endeavor in 2004 in order to fostering quality Veterinary
education in the northern part of Bangladesh. It is aiming to
offer course-credit semester based multidisciplinary Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree of five years duration. The
department is now setting up its research, teaching and field
laboratories. A total of 31 students of two batches are studying
at present. Currently, 7 teachers are involved in teaching and
research in the department.
